Why not visit Lacock and whilst you are here come and learn how to make melt and pour soap. Jacqui and the team run courses where you can learn the basics individually or bring a friend along. Learning in the lovely environment of our studio is the perfect start to a short break in Lacock with its wonderful historic Abbey and village. We'll share our ingredients and you will leave with a small batch of melt and pour soap made exclusively by you! This course is suitable for children accompanied by an adult.
Aspects of soap making we cover:
Getting started - guidance on equipment. Safety guidance on how to use the ingredients. How to add botanicals, clays and nutrients to your batch. Techniques on mixing and colourings. Essential oil blends. Hints and tips from our design studio on packaging. The legal aspects of selling online and at market stalls. The course is a half day. We start at 10 am and finish at 1pm.
