Originally a bakery, with its old oven, beams, wonky floors and hidden corners, the building has become a place where creativity and craftsmanship meet.

Alongside our botanical apothecary and Lacock Gin, our upstairs gallery celebrates a community of makers and artists, with changing exhibitions of jewellery, leatherwork, painting, printmaking and sculpture.

In 2018, after many years as a graphic designer and founder of Quintessentially English, Jacqui returned to sculpture — rediscovering the joy of working directly with her hands and transforming raw materials into something with meaning and presence.

Inspired by nature, ancient histories and the stories held within materials, each sculpture is a journey of discovery — another expression of creativity, connection and alchemy.
