FOR SOOTHING

The language of flowers, sometimes called floriography, was a Victorian-era means of communication in which various flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages, allowing individuals to express feelings which otherwise could not be spoken. This language was most commonly communicated through tussie-mussies (small flower bouquets), an art which has a following today. Geranium was known for 'Gentility' and Jasmine for 'unconditional eternal love'. Bergamot is a valuable, therapeutic essential oil that is used primarily for relaxation. Bergamot is also known as "Natures Prozac" as it is extremely helpful for stress, depression, tension and for calming physical and mental agitation. The name Bergamot however comes from a small town in Italy called Bergamo where the oil was first sold. Bergamot belongs to the same family as the orange tree and so it brings a wonderful citrus twist to the delicate notes within our blend.
