Hand-picked Rosa Centifolia petals release their delicate, intoxicating aroma, while heady Rose Geranium and Jasmine essential oils add exotic warmth. Handcrafted in our Lacock shop and studio built in 1672, Wiltshire — the same recipe I first made over thirty years ago.

Made a few hundred yards from Lady Elizabeth’s Rose Garden at Lacock Abbey, the same garden her son, Henry Fox Talbot, photographed in June 1840 — one of the earliest photographs ever taken anywhere in the world. Thirty years of rose petals, oils and quiet mornings have soaked slowly into these old stone walls. We like to call it aroma patina. Essence of romance, captured in soap.

Ritual & Useage

Lather generously in the bath or shower, allowing the rose and jasmine notes to bloom as the bar warms. Best kept on a draining soap dish between uses to help it last.
