The fragrance of ylang-ylang is rich and deep with bright hints of jasmine and neroli. In Indonesia, ylang-ylang flowers are spread on the bed of newlywed couples. In the Philippines, its flowers, together with the flowers of the sampaguita, are strung into a necklace (lei) and worn by women or used to adorn religious images. Jasmine is the ultimate aphrodisiac and is expensive due to the large number of flowers needed to produce a small amount of oil. The flowers have to be gathered at night because the odour of jasmine is more powerful after dark. We often throw in a handful of petals around this lovely soap. Simply drop the bath bomb into a bath full of warm water, watch as it fizzes away releasing the pure essential oils full of sensuality!
